Downhill cup Klinovec 2026
The third round of the Czech DH Top On Trail Cup is behind us.
On the weekend of August 22–23, Klínovec hosted the third round of the Czech Downhill Top On Trail Cup. A three-kilometer DH course with 450 meters of elevation gain awaited the riders, putting their speed, technique, and courage to the test.
While Saturday was mainly devoted to training and preparing for the race, on Sunday every hundredth of a second counted. The competitors first lined up at the start of the semifinal run, and those who finished it then battled for the best possible time in the final.
The three-kilometer downhill course, with a 450-meter elevation drop, featured both fast sections and technical stretches where there was no room for error. The outcome was therefore determined not only by speed, but also by precise bike handling and the ability to maintain a steady pace from start to finish.

The race featured several age and performance categories, ranging from young prospects and cadets to juniors and amateur riders, all the way up to elite competitors and the masters category. There was also a separate women’s category.
The entire weekend was all about speed, adrenaline, and a great racing atmosphere. A big thank you goes out to all the racers for their dedication, to the organizers for their great work, and to everyone who came out to support the racers.
