Loučná pod Klínovcem – The popular hiking series “Stříbrná stopa,” which has been guiding hundreds of mountain lovers through the Ore Mountains for five years, will conclude its fifth anniversary season this year. Each year, the organizers prepare five themed stages that allow participants to explore both well-known and lesser-visited spots in the region.
Over the past five years, “Stříbrná stopa” has visited many corners of the Ore Mountains, returning to some locations repeatedly so that participants could explore them thoroughly. Among these places is, for example, the area around Kraslice. However, the organizers have symbolically bid farewell to some areas in this year’s anniversary edition. One of them is the Hroznětín region, which, according to the organizers, regular “trailers” already know almost stone by stone.
The final, fifth stage will take place on Saturday, September 5, and will take participants to the area around Loučná pod Klínovcem. The route will offer a view of the highest peak of the Ore Mountains from an unusual perspective, a walk through the picturesque village of Königsmühle, and a visit to the historic lime kiln, where a guide will provide expert commentary.
The Ski School in Loučná pod Klínovcem will provide facilities for the final stage. After the hike, participants will be able to roast sausages, relax at a mountain lodge, and enjoy unique views of the surrounding countryside while listening to pleasant live music.
When we launched the Silver Trail five years ago, our goal was to show people the beauty of the Ore Mountains. Today, we can say that we’ve achieved something far more valuable. A wonderful community has formed around the Silver Trail—people who love to return not only for hiking, but also for shared experiences, new friendships, and learning about our region’s history. Today, Stříbrná stopa is more than just a hike; it’s about discovering the stories of the Ore Mountains together and building a connection to the place where we live,” said the organizers. Registration for the final stage is open on the website krusnohorsko.com.
